Ok wow. I've had tow cars for years. We've hard wired, we've used wired lights and we've used other brands of wireless. All are stupid in comparison to this product. Hard wired is expensive and cuts into your electric system. Even though it's an elegant solution it compromises a few things. We've had every problem associated with this including burning out lights, faulty wiring, damaged to the plug, burning, tearing of the wires etc. The wired magnetic ones scratched the car as the wire slides over and over the car as you travel. The last wireless we bought blew off but before that, failed to stay connected to the transmitter, didn't work half the time without us knowing, had limited battery life and also scratched the car with the magnetic base.These connect in seconds, stay on for 8 to 10 hrs depending on how much stopping or turning you do. They are fool-proof, easy to work and a time saver. I have used them for over a hundred hours so far and still LOVE them. Even if they died now I'd be another set.
