EASY TO INSTALL. This hitch offers a custom, factory fit on select model years of the Jeep Liberty
This hitch is of great quality. Very sturdy, well built, and the finish coating is perfect. I have yet to use it as I have only had it for about a month, but it tucks in nicely underneath the bumper and spare tire just about out of sight. It was easy to install and I would highly recommend it to anyone with a Liberty. There is one bolt that is more difficult to install, the forward bolt just above the exhaust pipe. Don't fret! Just take your time with it. Start with a stubby wrench and move to a longer wrench, probably a ratcheting wrench if you have one. I promise you'll get it, just don't let yourself get too frustrated. Also, if you have never attached anything to the built in nuts on your Jeep be sure to take time feeding the bolt. One reviewer had a nut plate snap off. If you take time feeding it then backing it out it will slowly open it up (I also recommend using a bore brush to clean the threads prior to install). Some advice from other folks is to remove the wheel for easier access. I'd recommend that practice if you prefer. All in all I don't think you could buy a better hitch for the money. A great value!
