So I will say...it will blind you. Best by far.Yamaha vstar...do NOT use its casing. Use the oem already on your bike. We will make a you tube video because the need is there. At parts store...this light cost 299.99Best thing I did for myself.Buy the relay switch too if you want the Amber's to work for turning signal.LED IS THE WAY TO GO. GREAT QUALITY...STUPIDLY HUGE DISTANCE!!!Bought a used one from amazon and it was missing all of the mounting hardware, but i made some up and it works great, very bright headlights. led turns could be brighter but they are pretty obvious when they are on so good enoughI had upgraded my OEM headlight with an H4 led. When I removed the fairing I wasn't sure if this value lamp would be any good. This headlight is as bright if not brighter than the upgraded OEM light and has a better beam pattern. Includes turn signal lights. All wiring tucks into back of light. Very pleased. So, this product is great just like other have stated. Bright, looks great and for the most part, easy to install.Couple of gripes though:1) the angel eye blinkers have to be splices in, so you'll need to adjust for that if your bike doesn't have connectors in place already for additional equipment. This is the same case with the angel eye runnung lights.2) the minting brackets do not fully fit around the front forks of a 2007 Suzuki M50 Boulevard, so some additional brackets will need to be sourced or do what I did, and fabricate backside brackets to fit the increased size of the forks.Overall, not a bad product, but far from universal mounting.I am genuinely impressed with this light. I had the old light out and signal lights off and this one installed in an hour. Uses a single ground wire so simplifies the wiring. DRL, low beam and high beam all connects easily to factory wiring (2002 ZR7). The bracket is just fine, you have to use some large grips to wrap it around the forks then tighten it fully, it's strong enough and works. Includes some tape to protect the forks and an extra wiring adapter (x2) which I didn't need. The light output is fantastic. It actually has a nice cutoff for the low beam to keep it out of oncomers eyes and the high beam spreads light to the sides and far to the front with a nice projector. I wouldn't keep the high beam on when you meet cars they will definitely notice. Not sure why it says Harley, this will work on most any bike. Would buy again great headlight.UPDATE: My new brackets arrived and got it mounted, works SOOOOOO MUCH BETTER THAN OEM. Wiring was easy. It is basically plug and play with the 93 shadow vt1100c harness, except for the built-in signal lights wiring. No instructions for wiring but easy to test with a test light. Had no issues installing with proper brackets and I actually enjoy riding at night now that I can see properly.THE BRACKETS ARE SH** TOSS THEM OUT AND PREORDER DECENT ONES. I COULDN'T EVEN USE MY BRACKETS BECAUSE THEY WERE SO CRAPPY AND HAD KINKS ALL THROUGH THE CURVE THAT WRAPS AROUND THE FORK TUBE. I'VE NEVER SEEN SUCH HORRIBLE BRACKETS.THE LIGHT ITSELF IS GREAT AND IS ALMOST PLUG AND PLAY. IT PLUGGED RIGHT INTO MY 93 HONDA SHADOW VT1100C HARNESS BUT I WILL NEED DO SOME WIRING TO GET THE BUILT IN SIGNALS TO WORK BUT THAT IS NO BIG DEAL AT ALL AND WILL BE QUIET EASY. IF YOU HAVE A SIGNAL INDICATOR LIGHT LIKE THE SHADOW HAS, YOU MAY NEED TO ADD SOME DIODES AT THE INDICATOR LIGHT AND RUN A SMALL GROUND WIRE. THIS IS REALLY EASY TO DO AND SHOULD NOT DETER YOU FROM BUYING THIS LIGHT. I HAVE TALKED TO MANY GUYS WHO HAVE BOUGHT THIS LIGHT AND THEY ARE VERY HAPPY WITH IT OVER THE SHADOWS OEM LIGHT. I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL MY MOUNTING BRACKET COMES AND I CAN PUT IT ON MY BIKE.Received this headlight and installed it. The light and housing are great. Seems to be very good quality and looks incredible. I bought this to install on my 2009 Kawasaki Ninja 650 for a street fighter conversion. The wiring is simple and easy to hook up. I wish the harness on the back of the light was a hit longer but it works. For anyone working with double headlights (as on most Kawasakis) you just have to splice the many grounds together. My only complaint is the fork mount bracket isn't the greatest. It's universal so naturally doesn't fit as well as a specific diameter mount. I made it work but immediately ordered a billet set specific to my bike to replace it.Good knock off the of daymamer headlight. The brackets are basically useless, and I had to order some inline resistors for the flasher units because they would pulse during the flash sequence but I can't complain for the price vs other big brand companiesI think ifs great. Mounting brackets could be more. But thats whatever. My main problem is I can't get the indicators to work independently. When left indicator is blinking amber the running light blinks aswell on the other side. Not sure if this is a defect or if I need to wire something different.
