Surface Mount Design: ideal for trailer RV camper etc, three wires to connect. The white is the ground wire, the black is the taillight, and the red is the brake and turn signal.
Easy Installation: This light is a Stud mount, which means that it does not install flat against the surface of the trailer and a hole is needed to be cut into the trailer for the light. This type of light is installed using a flange or bracket that has mounting holes. And mounting hardware is used to secure the light to the trailer.

Used it on my pop up camper, works great- it does get a little moisture buildup after washed but it’s not a concern of mineSo far so good product with good packingVery easy to install. I highly recommend!Wiring colors don't match trailer and no diagram to tell which color of wire is for what.Wires was not labeled and no instructions in my box. It took a few minutes to figure out what wire was the turn signal. But other than that I am happy with my purchase.Maybe make sure they fit the holes before you install them. We did not do that so we forced into places that were uncomfortable…. After some lube & extra sealant they fit great! But then we discovered we have to drive with our truck lights on in order for them to work right, even though they worked right for the dry run. Too late to take them off as we are already on the road.They came with bolts and nuts. I had to use screws to mount to camper because there’s no access to tighten the nuts from inside the camper.Very Bright and we'll visiblealso the license plate has its own white light, shining down.A huge upgrade from the 1980s style incandescent bulb RV taillights.Also they have a white reflector at the top
