These lights are a great addition to the house or outdoor space. There come with an initial charge right out of the box which is always nice. Installation takes a little bit of time, depending on where you put it up and the configuration used. There are about a 1/2 dozen ways to hang this light from a variety of spaces. These are not bright enough to illuminate the world by any means, but provide a lovely area light that allows basic tasks to be completed or seen at night. The picture is not perfect, but I wanted to show the glow that occurs at night. These are mounted on a 6ft tall metal fence. This allows me to see the gate at night for us or to ensure it is closed. They really are helpful without being to bright to interfere with enjoying the low light of night time.These lights are perfect!! They are so easy to install, they are very bright and light up the entire deck, they are sturdy and have worked all summer (I got them in June), they look great, and I can remove them from the deck to store during the winter. They gave me every feature I was looking for!!! Perfection!!I purchased these in April. The set that I received was the wrong color. I decided to keep as I did not want the hassle of returning them. Easy to install and they looked great and provided a good amount of light. My neighbors stole one while I was on vacation - but that is another story. So, out of the 5 I have left only 2 are still working. The other 3 will come on briefly or not at all. I live in Florida and these things receive at least 12 hours of bright sun. Very disappointed. As long as they keep working soils buy. 2 things I did upgrade on my purchase were rechargeable batteries, one provided are not good, also I bought some rustolium spray paint and covered those clips, the stock one would probably rust in a few days, easy fixes but worth it. :)I highly suggest letting these sit in the sun for about two days before mounting a using. However out of the box I had an issue with some of them. Seller was helpful and took care of the issue.The brackets that came with the lights did not mount to our metal fence post due to the post being of larger size. I was able to use the existing bracket and securing it to the chain link using metal ties. As long as the screw is in place all is good. The light output isn't great, but it's enough for people to read the sign, or hopefully not run into the fence at night. From a far it does look good. I haven't stayed up late enough to see when the lights stop working, but it's been on every night that we've had full sunlight.If you found my review helpful - PLEASE hit the Helpful button :-)The mounting screws through the brackets strip easily. One wouldn't tighten out of the box. They need a full days sun to stay on most of the night. They provide good light when they are on but only last a few hours. If you can screw them to something when mounting do so.
